Buffalo King Review
Buffalo King is a 6×4 slot with 4,096 ways to win. The big draw is the free spins: up to 100 of them, with wild multipliers of 2×, 3× or 5× that multiply each other.
About the game
This is a ways game, so there are no fixed lines. Matching symbols on neighbouring reels from the left pay, and with 6 reels of 4 symbols that gives you 4,096 ways on every spin.
The base game is pretty plain. The free spins are what this game is about, because the number of spins depends on how many bonus coins you land, and the wild multipliers can stack up fast.
Buffalo King Features
Free spins
3, 4, 5 or 6 gold bonus coins give you 8, 15, 25 or 100 free spins. During the round, even 2 coins give you more: 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 coins add 5, 8, 15, 25 or 100 spins.
Wild multipliers
In free spins every wild gets a 2×, 3× or 5× multiplier. If a win has several wilds, their multipliers are multiplied together, so two 5× wilds give you 25×. Wilds land on reels 2 to 6.
Bonus buy
You can buy the free spins for 75× your bet. You get a random number of scatters and a random number of starting spins.
Graphics
The reels sit in a wooden frame in front of a golden wheat field. The high symbols are North American animals: a buffalo, an eagle, a cougar, a wolf and a moose. The low ones are A, K, Q, J, 10 and 9. The wild is a red rock formation, and the bonus is a gold coin with a buffalo on it.
Symbols and payouts
The buffalo pays the most, 7.5× your bet for 6 in a row. Because you can have many ways at once, several combinations can pay on the same spin:
| Symbol | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Buffalo | 2× | 5× | 6.25× | 7.5× |
| Eagle | 1.5× | 2.5× | 5× | 6.25× |
| Cougar | 1.5× | 2.5× | 5× | 6.25× |
| Wolf | 1× | 2× | 3× | 5× |
| Moose | 1× | 2× | 3× | 5× |
| A, K | 0.5× | 1× | 2× | 3× |
| Q, J | 0.25× | 0.75× | 1.5× | 2.5× |
| 10, 9 | 0.25× | 0.5× | 1× | 2× |
RTP, volatility and max win
RTP is 96.06% in the demo, and the game info mentions other settings. The demo data doesn't state a max win. The rules call the game high volatility, while the start screen shows a "medium volatility" badge.
